Description
This is a Bushwack. Bring a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and bug spray. Have the map downloaded on an app on your fully charged phone. Both waterfalls are around 30 ft tall. The trail begins along a gated forest road for about a mile. Then you head down an overgrown route towards the creek. You will be crossing over the top of Bearcat Falls, try to find a steep trail to the bluff break, then cut down and follow the ridgeline back up towards the falls. There are some rock-climbing opportunities here with a campsite right before Bearcat Falls.
To reach Prohibition Falls, I recommend following the creek downstream for a way. To get to the bottom of Prohibition, use the break in the bluff line along the left side of the falls (facing downstream). There are a few cascading falls if you continue downstream. Dogs are welcome.
