Description

Only room for a few cars to park. Make sure you park with plenty of room for a fire truck to get past you.

There are a few (ankle deep) water crossings on this one so an extra pair of sandals and/or walking sticks may be helpful. Look for ribbons tied to trees as the trail can be difficult to find at times.

This trail follows along an old road, past a homestead with early 1900’s vehicles down to Big Creek. There are a few waterfalls and a couple caves that are closed for bat safety. This is a must see trail. The trail head is off of McElroy Gap Rd. Dogs are allowed on trail.
