Description

Located near Jasper, the trail head is just off Hwy 74, across the highway from horseshoe canyon ranch with a small parking area along the highway.   The trail follows along an old dirt road, to the right of a pond, through an area with some electric lines to a trail in the woods.

Be sure to NOT cross the creek (turn left) at the end of the dirt road that you follow from the highway.

This trail is best visited in the spring or late fall when the water is flowing. It’s an easy hike with a nice payoff. A little slick to get to the bottom of the falls but well worth the challenge.  You can continue on to top of Eye of the Needle from here, but it becomes a harder trail for sure. Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
