Description
To reach the trail head for these two hikes, take Hwy 16 east, off Scenic 7 Byway at Pelsor, go about 6 miles and look for the large National Service sign for the trailhead on the right. From the parking lot, cross the cool rock bridge and the trail will fork. Straight ahead leads to Pedestal Rocks and if you want to go to Kings Bluff, turn right. We do Kings Bluff first as its slightly on the way to Pedestal Rock if you are doing both.
There is a lot to explore below the Pedestal rocks. Many caves and a unique perspective looking from under all the pedestals. The hike distance will vary depending on the time you spend exploring. You are on top of a cool 114 foot tall waterfall at Kings Bluff. Not as much to explore here but breathtaking views are abundant.
