Beaver Lake is nationally renowned for bass fishing and has become a destination for many fishing tournaments. Boating, scuba diving, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, and swimming, are also popular at this lake. Unfortunately they do charge you $4 to park at the dam site. We try to list only free (assuming you have the gear) activity’s and this is one of the few exceptions.

Beaver Lake Dam site near Eureka Springs features sunken boats, a Mazda, VW, statues, an airplane and even a small ship. Each underwater feature is connected by a line you can follow, which makes this an easy dive for beginners. You will see the Ozarks classics including bass, crappie, longear sunfish, catfish, walleye and crawfish. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot a freshwater jellyfish or sponge. Entrance to the scuba park requires a per car fee to park.
